The 7 Positive Emotions – #7: Hope
Well, we’ve come to the last of The 7 Positive Emotions and this is a beauty.
This is one I discovered many, many years ago. No, wait a minute. I didn’t discover it. I HAD it and I didn’t know what I had. It took me awhile to discover what I had.
You see, when I first started to study this information, I was a sorry sight. I was 26 and I was a pretty unhappy guy. I was sick, I was broke, I really didn’t have any friends and of course, that’s because I really wasn’t very friendly. I hung around with people that weren’t very nice and that’s because I wasn’t very nice.
Then, I was given a book and I was told that I could have anything I seriously wanted. You see, up until that point, I was earning $4,000 a year and I owed $6,000, so I couldn’t even see any way out of my situation. I had NO HOPE.
Hope is the last of these positive emotions. Hope is a phenomenal emotion and I didn’t have any. When a person has no hope, they’re stuck. They’re in a rut. They’re running up against blank walls. But through study and the material and through understanding – Do you know that’s what Six Minutes To Success is going to give you? If you haven’t got it, it’s going to give it to you. It’s going to give you hope.
Hope gives you options. When you have hope, you see all kinds of options. You see doors instead of walls. You stop trying to make a door out of a wall. You see openings everywhere you go. There are opportunities flying at you. Hope gives you options.
I guess it comes from an understanding of the creative faculties that we’ve got; of the marvelous power that we’re working with; of the fact that we can create, internalize and express everything. We’re the highest form of creation on the planet. As we start studying this, we develop hope and hope gives us options.
When you see a person with no hope, sit down, take 5 minutes and help them. You’re going to run into people today that have no hope. They seem stuck. They just don’t know what to do. They may be despondent. What are you going to say to them? How are you going to help them?
Spend 4 or 5 minutes thinking on this subject and then I want you to look at the negative emotions and the positive emotions and say, “My goodness! The positives so outweigh the negatives! I’m going to carry those positive emotions in my purse or my pocket. I’m going to look at them every day. I’m going to watch these Six Minute videos on a regular basis every month and I’m going to share this with as many people as possible!”
You see, by sharing Six Minutes To Success with people, you’re going to give THEM hope and when you do that, the world will reward you. Six Minutes To Success will send you money, but the universe will send you much more!
Of The 7 Positive Emotions, hope is a phenomenal emotion! It’s a positive one and it’s yours. Now you’ve got it! Spend 5 minutes thinking about it.
“Hope is always available to us. When we feel defeated, we need only take a deep breath and say, “Yes… and hope will reappear.” ~ Monroe Forester
Question To Answer:
Hope: the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best. What is it that you truly want…your heart’s desire? Write it down while holding the feeling-tone of hope.
