The 7 Positive Emotions – #4: Sex

Well, this is one of The 7 Positive Emotions you might have been waiting for. This is a positive emotion that is misunderstood by many people. Alot of people go around with the wrong idea about it.

Sex. is one of the most powerful emotions that you can get involved with. This is a beautiful concept to work on. You know, alot of us are raised with the idea that sex is dirty, so you save it for somebody you love. It might have happened to you.

Think about it. It’s something that’s not talked about in many circles. It’s something that’s shied away from. You say, “what do you think about sex?” and people say, ” ooo, what are you talking about?

Sex is the expression of an idea; an emotion on a physical level. It’s something that is very creative. It’s procreate. It’s a powerful concept and if it’s not understood, it can be one of the most destructive emotions that there is. Of course, it isn’t the sex that’s destructive, it’s the lack if understanding. It’s ignorance that’s destructive.

When two people have a great sexual relationship, it’s the expression of two people, where their in tune on a physical level. They’re in tune on a physical level because they’re in tune on an intellectual level. Their ideas have a rapport. Their emotions have a rapport. Therefore the ideas and emotions are expressed through the physical body, so they have a great physical relationship.

It’s something to think about. Alot of people don’t have a great sexual relationship and they should, because it’s a beautiful thing when it’s understood. It’s very destructive when it’s not understood. I want you to think about it for a little while.

This isn’t something to shy away from; something to shun. It’s something to talk about. It’s something to understand and it’s something to be enjoyed. It is one of the most powerful emotions that you’ll ever deal with.

I always point out that there are three hangups in life: God, money and sex. We’re taught that God is a man on a cloud that blesses some and curses others. Money is bad, so you shouldn’t want it. Sex is dirty, so you save it for somebody you love.

The truth is God is an Infinite Power that operates in an orderly manner. Money is a servant. Sex is something absolutely beautiful. Start enjoying it. I do. I think you should, too.

Study it. Spend 4 or 5 minutes thinking about sex, one of The 7 Positive Emotions.
